I think that that baby is going to grow up with some serious post traumatic stress syndrome after being killed gruesomly and brought back to life repeatedly along with it's uncaring mother ever since it was a foetus. Seriously! I don't think that that is an ideal environment for raising a kid! 
And when Aerie says, "Shh! The others are sleeping so we can..."
When she has labour, Jahiera says to an apparently surprised protagonist that they knew she was pregnant because she couldn't hide her stomach under her robes. Sure. THAT'S how you knew. No need to LOSE SLEEP over it.🙄
